We are afrocentric and progressive platform aimed at the development and advancement of the African Youth agenda. IPAYP was established in 2015 by our Vision Bearer and founder Amb. Obinna Sixtus Nwoke. Nwoke was the pioneer elected president of Pan African Youth Council from 2011 to 2014. A true African with a goal to uniting the continent towards attaining the goals of progress by the Founding Fathers of the African Union.
Over the years Independent Pan African Youth Parliament has been carrying out various programmes that have earned us viable partnerships from reputable global organizations such as UNSDG Global Education USA.
As a civil society organisation our purpose is to align discussions, thinking and deliberations in line with the African youth charter while representing the African youth on any platform where policies affecting the continent is convened.
We are committed to the SDG Goals 2030 which if truly implemented will benefit the African continent and the youth at large. The drive is to ensure that all country chapters are committed to bring to bear the implementation of these goals at a micro level; creating opportunities in Africa. We are also committed to the Agenda 2063: the Africa of our dreams. Where our continent indeed will stand out among the committee of nations a force to reckon with beaming with a prosperous and United People.
